I am looking for a long run shoe that can handle intervals. Right now i have the boston 12, which i love the forefoot feeling but the heel is too harsh. The Speed 4 i love the softer heel But the forefoot lacks the cushion and pop of the boston12. Magicspeed 4 seems not as soft as the speed 4. Sounds like i need to give the puma deviate nitro a try.

Is Gel Nimbus 26 better than 25s right now or Nimbus 25 still better shoe overall? Planning to get one as my daily trainers, started my running journey since I started watching your vids. I'm a fan by the way!

Everyone definitely sees things differently sometimes. I thought the Boston 12 was firm & flat, hardly any arch support. 3 mile run then put them on ebay.

Boston 12 is definitely not what I'd call max cushioned. First pair of running shoes I had were the Gel Nimbus 24, those are what I'd call max cushioned. In comparison the Boston 12 is very very firm. The direction they're going in, having more lightstrike pro, makes me excited to see what they do with the Boston 13, the 12 has been great for me, especially given the price I can get them at here in China. Thinking of grabbing a 3rd pair now as I can get them for $93 USD. Have you considered doing reviews of running shoes where you're unaware of the price? I suspect that if you were able to get these shoes for quite a bit cheaper it'd affect how you rate them, equally if they're more expensive it'll affect your rating of them.

I'm 6'1 230 lbs and I developed patellar tendonitis for the first time ever with these shoes after just walking around in them. Has anyone else dealt with this? Or is this more a matter of moving from thinner shoes to thicc boi stacks?

How'd you compare this to the Asics Gel Kayano 30

Any word on a potential Rocket X3 or new Hoka racing shoe? I’m needing a new shoe for my next half marathon and all the Hokas I look at are out of stock. I don’t think my Clifton 9’s will cut it.
